David Allen White

David Allen White passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia. He was 50. Born in Wilmington, DE, he has been a Levittown resident for the past 22 years. David was employed for the past 16 years as a campus monitor at Hamilton Educational Program. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. David was a dedicated coach for Levittown Continental Little League, Falls Junior Legion Baseball and was an assistant coach for the Truman High School Baseball Team. He was an avid deer hunter and a member of the Old York Gunning Club.

Predeceased by his mother, Elaine (Talley) White, his sister, Deborah Heitmann, and mother-in-law, Mary Louise McCue Sessa, he is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Dawn (Sessa) White, and his 3 loving children, Michael, Matthew and Olivia. He is also survived by his father, George White (Amy), 1 brother, Linden White (Hope), 2 sisters, Carolyn White Cumbo and Ariel White, his father-in-law, Marty Sessa, Sr., 2 sisters-in-law, Donna Sarver (Chris) and Dana McGettigan (Kevin), 1 brother-in-law, Marty Sessa, Jr. (Lori), several nieces, nephews, cousins, his English bulldogs, Sarge, Maggie and Khloe, and his dearest family friend, Mary Hvizda.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Monday evening 5-9:00pm with words of remembrance at 8:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment with military honors will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 11:30am promptly at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the White Family Scholarship Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, Levittown Office, 4565 New Falls Road, Levittown, Pa 19056.
