Colliene Besack

The world truly lost an angel on Earth on February 19, 2019. Colliene Besack, age 81, passed away with her husband and children by her side She is survived by the love of her life George, husband of 63 years. They were residents of Bristol where they built their loving family home.

Colliene is survived by her 6 children who were her entire world; Debbie, George(Fran), John(Sharon), Michael(Doreen), David and Angel. She cherished her 11 grandchildren Rick (Lisa), Ryan (Robyn), Christie (Obie), Jack, Julie, Ashlee (Mark), Greg (Brittney), Kaite (Chuck), Becky (Adam), Brandon and Madison. She was also the loving great-grandmother to Morgan, Bailey, Cole, Slade, Ella, Finn, Lexi, Joey, J-Ry, Jocelyn, Avery, Anthony, Riley and Gabe. Colliene is also survived by her loving brother Jim(Diana) and many, many nieces and nephews. Colliene's one of a kind voice could be heard at St. Mark Church where she sang her heart out in the choir. She was a dedicated Catholic, even serving as Godmother one last time to her great- granddaughter in August. Mrs. Besack or “Bunny” to many, was an avid reader and intellectual and could engage in conversations on almost any topic. You never saw her without George holding her hand, and she could be found at all times with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an active, vital role in their daily lives. Colliene and George were members of Anchor Yacht Club where they enjoyed their boat and love of the water. Her favorite place to be was with her family making memories at their home on the Chesapeake Bay where she would hold court for her great-grandchildren regaling them with funny stories and games. She was the most selfless, kind and loving woman on Earth and to her family, simply their most beloved and irreplaceable person. Colliene was very proud of the family she and George created and to her that was her life. To meet her was to simply fall in love with her and her memory will live on in each one of her proud children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, March 8, 2019, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. Friends may call Friday morning 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
