Angelina Zinelli, loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. She was 91. Born in Bristol Borough, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Elisa (Volponi) Petrizzi, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Zinelli taught herself how to sew at the age of 14 and continued sewing throughout her life. She worked as a seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for her children, family and friends. Mrs. Zinelli also enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of St. Ann Church and the Miraculous Medal Society. She loved life, living it to the fullest, enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was very compassionate and always willing to help anyone in need.
Beloved wife of the late Daniel Zinelli and mother of the late Patricia Ann Zinelli, she is survived by her loving daughters; Lisa Genco and her husband, David, and Mary Zinelli and her son-in-law, James. She will be sadly missed by her grand-daughter; Elise Berrocal and her husband, Juan and her great-grandchildren, Daniel and Kaitlyn VanDoren and Aurelia and Angelo Berrocal, her nephew, Francis Lupo and his wife, Diane along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by 3 brothers, Philip, Emilio and John Petrizzi and 1 sister, Mary Lupo.
The family would like to thank Chandler Hall Hospice for the wonderful care they gave their mother. A special thank you to our extended family at Friends Nursing Home for the care, compassion and love they showed our mother and our family. We will be forever grateful.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, January 2, 2015, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Private graveside services at Resurrection Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chandler Hall, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, Pa 18940. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
