Allan D. Goulding passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Attleboro Nursing Facility, Langhorne, surrounded by his loving family. He was 83. Born in Erwinna, Pa, son of the late Walter and Annette Goulding, he moved to Bristol Borough as a teenager and graduated from Bristol High School, Class of 1950 and has been a Newportville resident for the past 54 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal with 3 bronze stars, United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Goulding retired after 38 years of service from Rohm & Haas Co., Bristol and was also employed at Raymonds Auto Body. In his younger years, he was a coach and president of Bristol Township Little League.
He is survived by his wife, Jean (nee Graham) Goulding, his 4 children, Allan D. Goulding, Jr., of New Hope, Pa., Donna McCormick (Gregory) of Fairless Hills, Pa., Karen Bongarzone (Joseph) of Saylorsburg, Pa and Suzanne Hunter (John) of Buckingham, Pa. Also survived by his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Graham, Paige, Shannon, Jordan, Hannah, and Isabel, 1 brother, Walter D. Goulding, Jr. (Thelma) along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Robert, Meta, Betty, and Martha.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewings on Monday evening, October 6, 2014, 7-9:00pm and Tuesday morning, 9-10:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
