Adelaida "Mamita" Ferrandez Dueñas

Adelaida "Mamita" Ferrandez Dueñas passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Silver Lake Nursing Center, Bristol. She was 98. Born in Zurite, Cuzco, Peru, daughter of the late Camilo Ferrandez Olivera and Ricarda Dueñas de Ferrandez, she has lived in Pennsylvania for the past 36 years. Ms. Ferrandez enjoyed cooking, sewing, music, and dancing but most of all was devoted to her family, especially her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Ricardina Iwanyshyn, her son-in-law, Steven Iwanyshyn, her grandchildren, Wendy Iwanyshyn and her husband, Joseph Retuerto and Steven F. Iwanyshyn, her great-grandchildren, Emilia and Joel. Also survived by her siblings, Hernan, Victor and Alonzo along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Soledad, Celestino and Augusta.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 9:30-11:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, private.
